This wine has fabulous aromatic lift, a pillowy texture, and a bone-dry, savoury close. It’s bustling with aromas and flavours of crunchy sloe berries, ripe raspberry and blackberry leaf. In short, a fabulous, thirst-quenching, fun yet far-from-simple Rosado from our man in Bierzo. There can’t be many wines out there that can deliver this kind of satisfaction, for the money. The label, too, deserves reference; reminiscent of WWII American Bomber Aircraft nose art, it fits the mood of the wine to a tee.
