Notes
The name Pokolbin as legend has it, is derived from the early Hungarian migrant settlers to the area and means ’hot as hell’ or ’hell hole’, referring to the hot, dry and sometimes inhospitable summers that regularly reach 45º C.
New release, it's a single vineyard Semillon from the 40yo vines on the Lochleven vineyard, a mature dry-grown vineyard in Pokolbin. This is made in the time honoured un-oaked style and released as a young wine and at just 10.5% Alc/Vol it will be the perfect lunchtime wine this Summer, with fresh seafood naturally.
