Voyager Estate’s Girt by Sea cabernet blend is a wine I've been happy to champion in the past. A model of consistency.
This is another good release. It just gets itself into a good groove and holds it there; no major ups but no downs either. It tastes of blackcurrant, black olive, eucalypt, cocoa powder and tobacco. It has a good – but not too overt – sling of tannin and a fruit-filled finish. Can be cellared but of course, can also be consumed young.
